The Draft Regional Plan, including the Draft Air Quality Conformity analysis (AQC) and the Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS) were released for public comment on April 24, 2015. The closing date for public comments on the Draft Regional Plan and its SCS is proposed for 55-days after distribution of the Draft EIR. A response to each comment on the Draft Regional Plan will be provided in Appendix F—Public Involvement Program of the Final Plan. SANDAG will accept public comments on the Draft EIR for a 55-day period following its release, which is expected in May 2015. The deadline for comments on the Draft EIR will be posted on the SANDAG website when the Draft EIR is released. SANDAG will prepare written responses to environmental issues raised in public comments on the Draft EIR and these responses to comments will be included in the Final EIR.
